At one public forum I
asked a corporation
president if bribes in-
cluded in the budget.
He sidestepped, wouldn't any-
one? Compatriots spun
the usual trite joker:
“We didn't know you
had it in you!” I don't.
Love shy me, but some-
times my fractious selves
thrust, their taunts
re lack of guts prompt-
ing half-convulsing
action. Exhilaration!
Then, ah then, perfusive
shame for abrogating peace.
