The Matter
Gave it requisite thought
and decided. "Premature!
Professor Swirtzky’s book
just out!" my face gets informed at
Barnes and Noble. Later, his
despisers chime in. "How could I...?
Without hearing them out?" Now his
supporters email me at such length
my machine crashes. Remind all
from neighbor’s that I have already
decided! Matter settled! They flame me
for wilful ignorance.
In many things, yes,
but not this time.
