The Nanny State

She pays us
for peeing,
buying us toys.

Whereas in Nazi nurseries
she orders us when.

Enforcing, for our own good,
schedules. Followed or beaten into.

Though midst posher precincts
she’ll croon, “And how are all
my little boys and girls today?”
