School Days
You wrote on my slate "I love you, Joe."
Oh well, iPad now. Show me the wonders
you've seen. How, too, acrid ‘relationships’
get tried in mere words. Do you have,
somewhere in there, the love of a child
for a child? If not, then silence
for missing life. The best of it,
sweet best.
