Future Trials
Lucille and Pedro made it stink again.
With their drama!
He felt embarrassed for them, and when
they started dancing, felt they’d anger
the judges enough to ruin his chances also.
He had given his measured
presentation already. A few judges showing appreciation at the sedate
air engendered by his clear charts.

Then, Lucille stumbled into him, and
a difficult time righting herself.
He had risen from his chair in order to
push her gently off, but she had strength
in her fury, managing to drag him to Pedro.
The three of them danced even more madly.
He couldn’t stop, either! A fit!
Strangely, it did him some good with the judges, their instantly nullifying the homeless chip in all three.
They were awarded an apartment!
Went there the next day, had great fun
furnishing it with kitsch abandoned in
many of the other flats.Labels: audition, future, homeless, trial
