Two are fun and the third is
vitally, almost unbearably,
important.
-Give me a hint as to the something you see standing on third base.
-Can’t.
-Oh come on! Why be so precious?
-It’s not that. I’ve totally forgotten it!

Leaving Nothing To Chance
Prided myself on my checklists.
Throughgoing and complete!
But, at the end, the proverbial
day late and dollar short
As you probably knew, St Peter
quite the ribber.
“Why not just trust us?”
Heaven evidently the beginning
of truly stupid questions.
