The question

Take a future
where uniforms
worn at Yale.
If revolution from
Left, then baggy
threads indeed.
Mind being tolerable
thing to waste.
From Right, rich
fabrics, beautiful-
ly tailored, with jag-
ged lightning patches.
Either wing, it’s
still Yale, and you’ll
press the party
leaders to get your
kid in. One hand
washes, thus, the other
to infinity.
The real human tragedy:
the comfortable
sleaze of today giving way
to the incompetent
and the vicious.
