Grandpa's Jew
-He's dead a while now. We didn't have to hear that!
-Well, part and parcel. We're an interesting family
in that he was in German army.
-Was he bragging or--?
-He was completely matter-of-fact guy.
-Yeah. Fact 1: Encountered ragged old Jew in
bombed-out attic. Fact 2: Begged me to shoot him.
-"I've stopped running."
-Fact 3: Your grandpa complied.
-Could be looked upon as mercy.
-It's all horror!
-I'm going to read. I'll try to steer the light
so it doesn't hit you.
