Experience
_____fantasized of the latest boy band. From among
Dinky, Rinky, Pinky, and Winky, she chose the last,
who actually winked on refreshing occasion.
She'd show him the ropes, she thought,
kneeling down to the lower shelves
in Walgreens Cosmetics.
So much more to offer than clustering fleas
with their prattle of hair and nails.
Whereas she was encyclopedic, and had oomph
they didn't know existed!
“You’d be lucky, Winky!” she whispers, rising to encounter the cleansers.
