Loner
-No use evading it: I'm the loner in
these parts too. Oh I tried to become
social, more or less, when I first moved
down here. Joined a kind of dining club.
A guy and his wife and I met at their
events and had drinks after.
-What were they like?
-The horsey set without the horses.
-Is that better or worse?
-I don't know. They must yearn for them.
