Reality TV
“The Couple”
-I got a hundred hours of Honey-Bunnies!
-Thank God a week of rain in there, and they
cuddled! She became his Cuddly-Wuddly.
-And he?
-Bumpky-Wumpky!
-Bumpky-Wumpky? I'll talk to the linguist about
that one! Darker, somehow!
-Oh don't be a Poopy-Doopy!
-Me a Poopy-Doopy? You're the Poopy Doopy!
I'm Mr Sunny-Wunny!
-Uh uh! I’m the Sunny-Wunny one! Even the techs
call me Little Miss Sunny-Wunny!
No use going on. The whole world turned
Baby Talk at the end of 2014! Before
The Great Wrenching Puke which caused
it to be banned in several countries,
notably France.

Babytalk
Hard and Soft
The couple went into their eighties saying
"You're a poopie!"
"Well you're a poopie-doopie!"
An occasional affectionate turn produced
"You're my poopie."
"And you're my poopie-doopie."
Does their long interchange have larger import?
How could it not?

Fledge Pledgers
Presently sending mild
emails full of babytalk
and animated hearts. In
greater gawks, infantile.
Name a pair not.
At least in part.

When Baby-Talkers Grow Up
and life smashes down, they
file the oopy poopy doopy
in favor of something sharp-
ly hostle to each other, often
eliciting, appropriately enough,
tears. And going on
like this, and on
to old age when they shut
all together.

Mr Squirty’s Demise
When_________DDS installed a new Mitchell-Belson he was taken by its beauty. Utility? What didn't it do?
The dentist leading the company seminar, dean all the way from Stanford admonished: “And given the tech firms
moving into your area, belay the babytalk! Squirt-Buddy
and the like! Explain the device to these engineers and point out its features. And, of course, how elegant it is!"
So, that meant no more Mr Squirty. Even to children, he
went over the Mitchell-Belson-–though more slowly.
As did his hygienists.
After not too long the appointment program was crammed, plus a waiting list...tech patients enthralled.
He took on another dentist, pediatric woman disillusioned
by paperwork and incompetent help at her own solo practice.
"Now no Mr Squirty!" he cautioned her first day.

Solution
-The question is: How do we deal with this reality?
-With babytalk.
-You’re not serious.
-You've always been a snickle-nickedy poopie doop!
-That bad?
-Yeah! So there, hah, nah, and a half!
-The half, even.
-The babytalk world is merciless.
