Anon

-That was awfully nice of you!

-Don’t tell anybody.

-Of course not. I wish to be nice
too, and therefore will accede to
your wish.

-It all makes me feel good!

-They say can’t last.

-Only if you think about it.

Largo

-Did the Big Bang actually happen?

-A convenience. All our thoughts are.

-Anything else?

-Not yet.

All in the wrist! Or not.

or The Principle of Judicious
Choice! Perhaps.

This mantra served him well in golf:
It’s All in the wrist!

Then, it didn’t.

After that, disaster! Worse, the scorn
of his fellow players.

Found a guru in his new teacher, Pro Sam,
who counseled FORGET THE WRIST!

Which advice prospered until he erased
the laughter.

That, in time, failed too.

Other mantras?

Of course, and overall, he got more
and more pitiful.

Finally, he heeded the advice of friend
Horty. “Hey! know that you stink and
revel in the odor!”

As an American, that couldn’t last long.

His wife, Ruby, warned him to stop
talking about it.

But...he was rescued!

A miracle called REORGANIZATION
at work, whose rules and admired
personalities he ignored completely.

This was the fourth such process,
and he knew by instinct that they had
disgracefully struck out in the
first three, so why listen?

Thus, unconscious anarchist of sorts.
The same in golf to acceptable results.

He continued to obey Ruby, who
transcended mere ideas.

How Terrible They Were

to the man who thought too much.

By Two

They wrote a program to back
him up two notches.

Thus the conclusion he reached
was valid, and not fussy or wrong
or overcooked.

But, when he insisted the extraneous
thoughts be maintained in a
reservoir, for fun they sent in others’
ideas at random.

A real scatterfk!

A few months ago, he accessed
those results.

And has never left.

Testing

-I’ll hafta see what I think I think.

-That’s Synesthesia! You don’t
actually SEE your thinking.
You can feel it, though.
Hmmm, I guess THAT’S syn...

-Uh huh?

-Too!

-I hafta feel what I think I feel? Or...?

-Bingo!

-How much would you take to go away?

Stinking Thinking

Bix stopped some with "Listen! You're outa control!
Your thinking has gotten totally fucked up, and you're
heading for disaster and humiliation!"

Most listened further.

"Any decision you make, however small, run by me!"

They did, and were forever grateful. Told others, Bix
acquiring the reputation of the cool one. But, of course,
a madman dwelt in him also.

Keeping him down, and others un-maniacal, added up to
his life, but got him tired.

And as he aged...well he arrived at the final fatigue as
we all do.

The graveyard is blistering, though they found a shaded
place by a lake.

Some walk there to think.

Study History, Anthropology etc

Thoroughly interested in how
they did it then, since we don't

really know what we’re doing
at present. Our doubt for now
concerns the endless rout

of so-cautious thought by
fatal happenstance. “O

if I could only get a breathing
space!” On that personal level,
it‘s not you who writes finis.

But without much adieu
we’ll all muddle through

sans your hysterical input.
Remember that before you
again do History.

Insights

After the mishap
at the textile factory
he tweezers out the threads

from the technicolor gash.
The whole thing oft reprised
to steer clear of memories

of pain and nausea. What
could have been done
else. But facts and their

manipulation bring
no closure. Some say tack

to metaphysics, answer lying
in a large book reposing
at a miscellaneous port.

Good luck with that.
